Meet Our Founder
Lynn M. Zickefoose, CPA, is the founder and President of STAaR Co., bringing more than 30 years of experience in accounting and ERP consulting—with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics GP, a platform she has worked with since its earliest days. Her rare combination of financial expertise and technical depth makes her a trusted advisor to organizations seeking smart, sustainable solutions.
After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Toledo, Lynn launched her career at a CPA firm where she gained hands-on experience in tax, audit, and financial reporting. She also led early efforts to modernize operations by implementing ERP and fixed asset systems, helping firms shift from manual accounting practices to more efficient, computerized environments.
Her skillset soon drew the attention of Ernst & Young, one of the prestigious Big Eight accounting firms at the time. As a highly sought-after consultant, Lynn contributed to complex client engagements—but also experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating change within large, bureaucratic organizations. That experience solidified her belief in the value of agility and decisiveness—traits she would later bake into the DNA of her own consulting firm.
Driven by a desire to provide faster, more impactful support to clients, Lynn launched her first consulting company in 1997, focusing on ERP implementation and support. Building on that foundation, she established STAaR Co. in 2004 with a clear mission: to offer specialized Microsoft Dynamics GP consulting backed by real-world financial knowledge and hands-on technical execution.
As with many Dynamics GP implementations, companies have or need additional functionality often found in ISV integrating products.
